I was born in Prague and came to ESET after finishing my MA studies in Computer Security at Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Information Technology. I took and successfully completed the ESET Crackme 2013 challenge. Previously, I’ve worked as a network technician, but was interested in reverse engineering throughout my college studies.
As a detection engineer, I analyze and identify new versions of malicious programs every day. In my work I try to look for smaller support scripts and applications, which could be useful for myself as well as for my colleagues. In addition, I am in charge of our cooperation with universities around Prague.
I like the opportunities for self-development and the fact that, by doing my job, I am helping people around the world. I also enjoy the occasional wafers served out in the kitchenette :)
Technologies. Integrity. Punk.
